What you will do in your working day
- Caring for key children - nappy changes, feeding and soothing to sleep.
- Setting up and completing activities.
- Keep the room clean and hygienic at all times.
- Complete paperwork to support your role and evidence your care.
The training you will be getting
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to be completed with Surrey College. 1 day a week off to complete study tasks set by your tutor. Additional off job hours to be completed at the nursery.
Safeguarding children course with Surrey County Council.
Peadiatric first aid completed with Tigerlilly Training.
Food hygiene complete with Azilo, alongside other CPD training courses.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Become qualifed, continue study to level 3 and work towards a senior role.
