Summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can support the delivery of an inclusive, nurturing and child centred learning experience, designed to ensure that all children succeed and develop a love of learning.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Your training plan
Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
- Functional skills in maths, English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA) - you will work towards achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours for the Teaching Assistant Standard. This is achieved on completion of an externally assessed EPA.
- Learners will complete a portfolio of evidence and the EPA consists of the following activities: practical observation with questions & answers and professional discussion.
The successful candidate will attend fortnightly sessions at the college between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade C/4)
- Maths (grade C/4)
