Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
You will undertake a series of work placements within our production facilities in Westhoughton, Bolton and on-site, working alongside experienced engineers, to gain all-round experience within the door industry.

You will follow our own in-house training programme, as well as studying towards achieving a Level 2 Engineering Operative apprenticeship and completing a Level 2 Diploma in Engineering Operations.
Most of your time will be spent gaining practical experience, although you will be required to attend classroom-based workshops.

After this apprenticeship
At the end of the apprenticeship programme, subject to progression and the needs of the business, there will be the opportunity for continuing employment as an Assistant Engineer within one of our specialist divisions, to gain further experience before progressing on to become a Lead Engineer in your own van.
