Summary
As a Client Engagement Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to work in the Equity Research Division - renowned for delivering market-leading, in-depth analyses of companies, industries, markets, and global economies. You will work to support our research teams in marketing their research content to our vast client base!

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Work with a number of teams to assist in the development of high-quality research content, tailored to client needs.
- Draft, implement and maintain an accurate marketing plan.
- Liaison with clients directly to help manage and arrange marketing schedules.
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate and execute marketing schedules.
- Keep updated and organised distribution lists to ensure our research content is effectively distributed to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide essential administrative support to our offshore team; including managing expenses, facilitating printing needs and maintaining accurate calendar entries.
- Attend weekly team meetings & proactively provide updates and relevant information on our clients.
- Develop an understanding of our client base and leverage available tools/ best practices to enhance client engagement and satisfaction.
- Support in executing group events & conferences.
- Maintain up-to-date workflow processes and other team documentation
- Collaborate to ensure accurate diary management and travel arrangements.
- Actively support the team on all new client initiatives, contributing ideas and executing plans that drive client acquisition and retention.

- Source and migrate data from already identified different sources.
- Collect, format and save datasets.
- Summarise and explain gathered data.
- Blend data sets from multiple sources and present in format appropriate to the task.
- Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
- Use tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Apply basic statistical methods and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data.
- Apply cross checking techniques for identifying faults and data results for data project requirements.
- Audit data results.
- Demonstrate the different ways of communicating meaning from data in line with audience requirements.
- Produce clear and consistent technical documentation using standard organisational templates.
- Store, manage and distribute in compliance with data security standards and legislation.
- Explain data and results to different audiences in a way that aids understanding.
- Review own development needs.
- Keep up to date with developments in technologies, trends and innovation using a range of sources.
- Clean data i.e. remove duplicates, typos, duplicate entries, out of date data, parse data (e.g. format telephone numbers according to a national standard) and test and assess confidence in the data and its integrity.
- Operate as part of a multi-functional team.
- Prioritise within the context of a project.

Your training plan
20% off your working week will be dedicated to 'Off the job training' - ie apprenticeship studies which are completed online during work hours. This will include independent self paced learning, online tutorials alongside other apprentices and 1:1 coaching.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4-9 (C-A))
- Maths (grade 4-9 (C-A))
A Level in:
- Three A-Levels - any subjects (grade A* - C)
