Summary
A fantastic apprenticeship opportunity has arisen at Little Poppets Preschool. They aim to provide each child with a stimulating environment where they feel safe and cared for, their Parents/Carers feel confident leaving them with us. We are a community non profit making group meaning all money raised is used to benefit the children in our care.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Arrive at 9.00 to set up day's activities and clear up after children.
- To help provide a safe and stimulating environment throughout the session.
- Be aware of children's safety.
- Be polite to parents and carers at all times.
- To combat class, racial, gender and religious discrimination and to demonstrate positive attitudes in all aspects of work.
- Encourage language skills by talking and listening to children.
- Have acknowledged of all the Health & Safety policies and other policies.
- Confidentiality at all times and adhere to the Data Protection Act.
- Help practitioners in their day to day running of the preschool.
- Observe by collating information for practitioners

CONFIDENTIALITY All Mobile phones to be stored away in the cupboard whilst on the premises. The use of cameras is prohibited in all areas of the setting. Handbags to be stored away in the designated cupboard. No information gained on the premises to be discussed with anyone outside the premises or published on social networking sites.

After this apprenticeship
On successful completion of the Early Years Educator Level 3 you can progress to a room leader, manager and complete a level 5 Lead Practitioner
