Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Provide and support stimulating activities to enhance children’s development
- Interact positively with children, parents, visitors and other staff members
- Make a positive contribution towards new ideas for activities and displays
- Carry out domestic duties to ensure the smooth running of the setting
- Meeting and greeting of children and parents

- Training will be provided by Riverside Training (Spalding) Ltd. Training is work based meaning you spend the majority of time within the workplace but will be released into the centre periodically if needed
- During this apprenticeship, you will work towards learning the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of the Early Years Educator Standard and your first aid certificate

GCSE or equivalent in:
- English (grade 4/C)
- Mathematics (grade 4/C)
