What you will do in your working day

Main Duties
· Controlling the goods in and goods out for the business
· General Stores duties
· Returns processing
· Assisting with keeping the warehouse clean, safe and tidy
· Occasionally working in other departments when needed
· Must be efficient in Microsoft office
· Responding to customers emails
· Liaising with suppliers
· Booking access equipment
· Answering the phone
· Drafting letters
· First aid
· Keeping track of tools and access equipment, harnesses
· Keeping training up to date
· Keeping vehicle records and maintenance up-to-date
· Monitoring trackers

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

This is predominantly a work based programme which means that your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours. We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you will attend in person at our Derby Road campus or online via Teams. Monthly tutorials are held via Microsoft Teams

You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Potential of full time employment upon successful completion of apprenticeship. Also, opportunity to move towards becoming PA to General Manager and assisting with further duties when he is on holiday
