What you will do in your working day

  • Provide customer support via phone and email. While maintaining the established quality and customer service standards we expect
  • To process and record invoices, credits and payments for customers and suppliers
  • Create sales invoices
  • Keep bank account records up-to-date
  • Complete bank reconciliations
  • Process direct debit payment requests
  • Debt collection
  • Process insurance payments and FCA reconciliations.
  • General admin requests.
  • To complete mandatory FCA training
  • To prepare administration / financial information as requested
  • To be responsible for the accuracy of work carried out
  • To ensure that when set, timescales / deadlines are met

The training you will be getting

Full Level 2 Accounts & Finance Assistant apprenticeship standard.

This programme includes:

  • Certificate in Accounting Level 2

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

This is a day release delivery model which means that during term time, you are expected to attend weekly (one day per week), during term time to further enhance your knowledge, skills and behaviours.

You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.
