Working week
Between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm. This role is based at both the Skegby and Huthwaite site so you will need to be able to arrive at both sites for a 7.45am start time.

What you will do in your working day
- Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries and booking/cancellation appointment
- Front desk duties such as greeting patients and dealing with enquiries
- Filing, scanning and photocopying
- Taking accurate messages
- Managing correspondence
- Inputting and extracting information from internal systems
- General Admin Duties
- Contacting patients on the recall data base (eg. Patients who may require a medication review etc)
- Reporting to the shift leader
- You will work two days per week at Huthwaite and three days per week at Skegby
The training you will be getting
- Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills if required
- You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
- You will experience a blended learning model
- This is predominantly a workplace delivery programme, meaning that your learning will take place in work time and on work premises
- You will attend a minimum of six supportive workshops throughout your apprenticeship, specifically designed to help you to achieve the deisred outcomes of the apprenticeship
- You can attend these in person at our Derby Road, Mansfield campus or online via Microsoft Teams.
- You will also attend monthly, online tutorials
- You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio
- At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged
