What you will do in your working day

  • Process EE connections directly with IMC on behalf of business partners
  • Complete connections accurately and efficiently, either online, over the phone or via email
  • To process Credit checks on behalf of business partners
  • To check the orders input by business partners for accuracy and feedback/decline when appropriate
  • To thoroughly check proofs of address, id and business in line with the network's compliance guidelines
  • Manage mailboxes/ticket workflow, replying in a timely manner to connection/credit checks & query submissions
  • Make outbound, take inbound calls maintaining a professional manner
  • Work as part of a team, assist colleagues to the best of ability
  • To assist business partners with using our fulfilment service, understanding procedures and escalate to Business Management when training is required
  • To work with our couriers to ensure deliveries are made correctly
  • To escalate any system issues in a timely manner

The training you will be getting

Full Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

This is predominantly a workplace delivery programme, meaning that your learning will take place in work time and on work premises. You will attend a minimum of six supportive workshops throughout your apprenticeship, specifically designed to help you to achieve the desired outcomes of the apprenticeship. You can attend these in person at our Derby Road, Mansfield campus or online via Microsoft Teams.
You will also attend monthly, online tutorials.

You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Full-time employment upon competing apprenticeship successfully, alongside regular ongoing training to ensure your skills remain relevant.
