What you will do in your working day

  • Welcoming customers

The training you will be getting

Full Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills in maths and English (if required).

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession. You will experience a blended learning model.

This is predominantly a workplace delivery programme, meaning that your learning will take place during work time and on work premises. You will attend a minimum of six supportive workshops throughout your apprenticeship, specifically designed to help you achieve the desired outcomes of the apprenticeship.

You can attend these in person at our Derby Road, Mansfield campus or online via Microsoft Teams. You will also attend monthly, online tutorials.

You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

At the end of the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a full-time, permanent role.
