What you will do in your working day
The role will include
- Greeting visitors to the clinic as soon as they arrive and connecting them with the appropriate party. Chatting to clients as they wait to see their therapists, providing tea, coffee, water, etc.
- Answering the telephone in a timely manner and directing calls to the correct person, taking messages as required.
- Booking appointments, scheduling meetings and general diary management.
- Creating and managing both digital and hard copy filing systems as needed.
- Responsible for stock management, ensuring there are adequate supplies and ordering.
- Providing support to the Management team and therapists.
- Assisting in the daily Clinic needs.
- Following all health and safety requirements.
- Attending relevant meetings and following all policies and procedures.
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as may arise from time to time.
The training you will be getting
- The Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship is delivered fully in the workplace. You will be supported by a Development Coach from Newbury College, so that you can confidently demonstrate the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours required for the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship qualification.
- Your Development Coach will meet with you regularly either remotely or in your workplace. Your employer will give you time in the workplace to focus on your apprenticeship.
- Please note: If you do not have a GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent in either or both English and Maths, you will be required to take Level 1 Functional Skills alongside your apprenticeship.
- At the end of your apprenticeship you will have completed the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard and will be required to complete an End Point Assessment (EPA). Your Development Coach will support you with preparing for your EPA.
