What you will do in your working day
We are looking for an apprentice/school lever to take on the roles as assistants. Their duties will be to aid the team in preparing the golf course to a high standard. Whilst learning their trade, duties will include
- Mowing
- Strimming
- General set up of the course
- Irrigation repairs
- Changing holes
- Raking bunkers & maintenance
- Learning how to repair turf, aeration, drainage and all the other duties that are essential for the upkeep of a golf course
The training you will be getting
You will be studing Level 2 Greenkeeping at Hadlow college.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
You could achieve level 2 Golf Greenkeeper qualification, spraying certificates chainsaw licence, train to be an irrigation technician, mechanic, and all manner of other opportunity’s.
