As the Business Admin Apprentice will play a key part in the day to day running of the office whilst learning from Harveys experienced team.

    £14,560.00

    Employers are required to pay their apprentice at least the Apprentice Minimum Wage for the first 12 months of the apprenticeship. After 12 months, an apprentice must be paid at least the National Minimum Wage for their age bracket.

    Monday - Friday, starting between 9.00am - 9.30am. Exact shifts to be confirmed.

What you will do in your working day

The initial key tasks in this role will include:

  • Creating and maintaining client information and data
  • Updating client information to our website portal
  • Writing letters, reports and documents using in house standards initially
  • Learning and then moving on to creating original letters reports and documents
  • Managing the client files to ensure easy access and control
  • Administering, updating and extracting the firms time ledgers and client expenses accounts
  • Day to day in house administrative duties to progress client and practice matters
  • Gaining industry technical knowledge used in your day to day role
  • Front of house duties, answering the telephone, helping callers and greeting visitors
  • All areas of post room duties, including opening and sending post

Early Developing role:

  • Creating original letters and documents
  • Report drafting/writing
  • Meeting and dealing directly with clients, their staff and our contacts
  • Engaging and instructing solicitors, accountants, surveyors and agents
  • Cashier duties
  • Assignment of your own portfolio of clients
  • Dealing with a client from inception to end

The Business Administrator Apprenticeship is delivered fully in the workplace.

Your Development Coach will meet with you regularly either remotely or in your workplace. Your employer will give you time in the workplace to focus on your apprenticeship. 

Please note: We are looking for someone who has or is anticipated to achieved a grade 5/C or above in maths and English GCSE. 

At the end of your apprenticeship you will have completed the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard and will be required to complete an End Point Assessment (EPA).

Your Development Coach will support you with preparing for your EPA.
