Summary
Veolia is looking for a mobile Multiskilled Engineering Apprentice to join our team in West Yorkshire. You will operate and maintain various types of electrical and mechanical equipment associated with energy plants. This could be steam boilers, hot water boilers, pumps, generators etc.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
- Electrical and mechanical isolations when required, using safe systems of work
- Routine inspections and servicing of plant and equipment in accordance with a planned preventative maintenance programme
- Carry out minor plant modifications, including pump and pipeline installation and assist with the commissioning of new plant and machinery
- Carry out all repairs and modifications following the required standards and as directed
- Assist with the creation and updating of site risk assessments
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner, including a permit to work and the accurate recording of maintenance
- Performing any other duties reasonably requested by management

This is a mobile role working on sites around the Yorkshire area
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
