Monday to Friday – start times vary from 6.30am to 7.30am depending on the time of year. Tuesday will be a study day, on site, focussing on college work. Additional hours are required, including Saturdays, to manage harvest and customer requirements.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
Main duties are:
- Distribution of bio and beneficials.
- Crop registration.
- Feed mixing as required.
- Spraying as directed by the Head Grower.
- Develop and learn growing and operations responsibilities within the glasshouse.

About this company
Suffolk Fresh Ltd grow and pack tomatoes, currently for Tesco, Waitrose and Morrisons. The nursery is 8.4 hectares and is a semi closed hydroponic glasshouse in Bramford, Suffolk.
