We are a fast growing 3rd party logistics provider and international freight Forwarder, specialising in shipping goods to Amazon FBA warehouses worldwide, D2C shipping, kitting, unloading containers and managing customer returns. Following a period of sustained growth and expansion we are looking for new additions to our team.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
We are looking for a Warehouse Apprentice to join our fulfilment team on a full-time, permanent basis. Immediate start is available.
The Warehouse Picker/Packer will be responsible for a number of tasks in the warehouse including but not limited to the following:
- Picking and packing orders for fulfilment
- Managing Stock levels within the warehouse
- Working on internal computer systems
- Using Google spreadsheets to record all data
- Data entry on warehouse management software
- Fulfilling customers orders
- Boxing up products
- Poly-bagging and taping products
- Labelling and bundling products
- General warehouse cleaning duties
- Prepping and packing orders for FBA

- Load and unload products, considering the product that is to be moved and its current and planned destination.
- Use tools and equipment to aid in product handling.
- Use information technology and digital systems. Comply with GDPR and cyber security.
- Locate and use operational information, electronic or paper based, required to fulfil contractual requirements.
- Select, prepare, and use packaging materials that reduce waste and mitigate environmental impacts.
- support under instruction scheduled and unscheduled stock taking activities relevant to the organisation and product.
- Identify and escalate problems beyond own responsibility.
- Follow procedures in line with environmental and sustainability regulations, standards, and guidance. Segregate resources for reuse, recycling and disposal.
- Follow equity, diversity and inclusion rules.
- Carry out and record learning and development activities.
- Conducts handover activities.

We Prep is a small company employing around 25 people in Stowmarket, a young and energetic team looking to make waves in the logistics industry. There is an office on site and a warehouse where the successful candidate will be based mostly.
