Wage
£16,000 a year

£16,000 starting wage with regular increments throughout the Apprenticeship. 6 monthly reviews with potential salary increase. Company Bonus Scheme.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Dismantle our pumps, boosters and systems and provide a recommendation for the repairs
  • Rebuild our pumps, boosters and systems using engineering drawings
  • Test our equipment to ensure it functions as it should.
  • Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams to understand systems
  • Carry out oxygen system repairs for breathing apparatus in our state-of-the-art clean room
  • Make repairs to small bore instrumentation pipework
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the repairs department
  • Play an active role in upholding the highest standards of health and safety

The bulk of your apprenticeship and training will take place in our facility in Sunderland, however you will also travel to our clients’ facilities all over the UK to see our equipment in action and further your development.

GCSE in:
