The role will encompass CNC turning, milling and grinding as well as manual turning, milling and grinding with a focus on making subcontracted machined components and bespoke high speed steel tooling for the aerospace industry.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Learning FANUC controlled CNC milling and turning centres in the production of tooling and components
- Operating manual machines; milling, turning, grinding and tool & cutter to assist in the production of the business
- Ensure quality of their work through using a micrometer and verniers so that the next manufacturing process can be completed
