    About this company

First Steps is on 2 levels, baby/toddler and pre-school and takes children from the ages 3 months to school age. We have a large garden area, outdoor classroom and an outstanding Ofsted report. We are very friendly, have a great team and a home from home environment. We aim to nurture each child’s potential so that by the time they leave us, they are happy, confident and eager to embrace education. Nurturing is vital to children’s development, a secret ingredient that enables children to grow physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, culturally, and spiritually. We want children to have real experiences that have a purpose and an outcome that provides them a sense of accomplishment. Independence is nurtured, creativity allowed to flourish and children’s natural inquisitiveness embraced. We recognise that each child is an individual with their own ideas and interests, and this is always the starting point for the experiences we can share.
