Summary

We are a small, professional and welcoming financial planning firm. Due to our continued success, we are looking to recruit an Apprentice Financial Services Administrator to provide full administrative support to the Financial Planners.

Annual wage
£16,000 a year

Minimum wage rates (opens in new tab)

£16,000 - £18,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

9.00am - 5.30pm, Monday - Thursday. 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday. 1 hour lunch, office based.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

This role will suit someone who is keen to learn the financial planning process. The Apprentice Administrator will need to ensure that their work is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner whilst mitigating any risks to the business.  Duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and directing calls appropriately
  • Processing applications, information requests and letters of authority
  • Processing withdrawal requests
  • Updating the back-office system
  • Production of portfolio reports and additional client information as requested
  • Scanning and allocating incoming post
  • Client and provider contact

    • Training will be completed on line accessed from your employers address.

    As well as on the job training, you will complete a Financial Services Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship standard. This will include working towards CF1 or R01 via the CII.

    • CII CF1 or R01 - Financial Services Regulations & Ethics
    • Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Financial Services Administrators

    Essential qualifications

    GCSE or equivalent in:

    • English (grade C/4)
    • Maths (grade C/4)

    Desirable qualifications

    A Level or equivalent in:

    • 2 or more (grade Pass)
