Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Working in a busy production environment you will learn all the key skills associated with the manufacture & refurbishment of contract, office and domestic furniture
- The training provider will visit you on site regularly to take you through the Level 2 apprenticeship programme and functional skills
- The role will involve on the job training given by experienced furniture makers covering such roles as Upholstery, Fabric Cutting, Sewing and Assembly operations
- Upon successfully completing your nationally recognised 2-year apprenticeship, you can expect full time employment and further development opportunities within an exciting growing business
