Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for the right candidate in an apprenticeship within the childcare industry. The purpose of the position is to assist the Nursery staff in the day-to-day organisation of the nursery, you will be based at one of our amazing sites. You must have one of the recognised Level 2 qualifications in childcare already.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation and assistance with all activities
- Observation of each child’s progress and development
- Assist in the provision of safe, creative, and appropriate play
- Assist with the personal hygiene and welfare of the children
- Identification of possible child abuse or neglect
- Assist with extra-curricular activities and functions for example staff meeting, fund-raising events, etc.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the nursery manager
