Summary
We are seeking someone with strong customer service skills who's willing to learn locksmith specific skills to fulfil orders and assist customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a mix of customer service via phone, email and in person, alongside handling ecommerce distribution, purchasing and order fulfilment.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and provide professional, knowledge backed advice on security solutions.
- Ecommerce Distribution: Manage and fulfil ecommerce orders, ensuring accurate and timely distribution of products
- Purchasing: Place orders with suppliers and monitor stock levels to enable order fulfilment
- Locksmith Services: Provide locksmith services, including key cutting and lock manipulation
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest security products and technologies, and assist in maintaining an accurate and comprehensive product catalogue for our online store
- Team Collaboration: Work closely within a team environment to ensure a seamless customer experience both in-store and online
- Organisation: Help maintain an organised and tidy workplace, keeping inventory in order and up to date

Your training plan
As part of the apprenticeship you will complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard. You will receive a grade Pass or Distinction on completion.
In addition to the apprenticeship standard you will complete Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English, if you don't have GCSEs grades C/4 or above or equivalent. The delivery will take place in the workplace and the final exams at one of East Sussex College's campuses. You will then be upskilled to Level 2 Functional Skills.
The apprenticeship will be delivered fully in the workplace, and you will have assessor meetings every 4-6 weeks and workplace reviews every 10-12 weeks to monitor your progress. There will also be monthly workshops.
