Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Rug up & turnout
  • Mucking out
  • Grooming
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up & untacking horses
  • Washing down after work
  • Bringing horses in
  • Making haynets & feeds
  • Skipping out
  • Opportunity to groom at shows

The successful candidate will be put through their learning modules with a recognised training provider, working with our professional team you will have lots of opportunity to gain experience and training on and off the yard at competitions.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • Maths and English (grade 3-4 (D-C))
