Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • As an apprentice in the business, you would be fully supported in all aspects of your training from our skilled group of departmental team leaders and managers.

Duties to include:

  • Product /Tooling Design
  • Tube and Flat Bed Laser
  • CNC Bending
  • CNC Machining
  • Robot Welding

  • Weekly release day into college on a Thursday 
  • Assessor/Skills Coach will visit the workplace every 4-6 weeks
  • All portfolio work/assignments will be set online

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • English (grade 4)
  • Maths (grade 4)
