Summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic apprentice Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning. The successful applicant will demonstrate that they can support the delivery of an inclusive, nurturing and child centred learning experience, ensuring children succeed and develop a love of learning.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

- Work across other year groups as required
- Support basic administrative tasks in the school as required

Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Functional skills in maths, English (if required)
- End-Point Assessment (EPA) - you will work towards achieving the knowledge, skills and behaviours for the Teaching Assistant
- Standard. This is achieved on completion of an externally assessed EPA.
- Learners will complete a portfolio of evidence and the EPA consists of the following activities: practical observation with questions & answers and professional discussion.

The successful candidate will attend fortnightly sessions at the college between 9am and 3.30pm.
