Summary
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work in a range of areas guiding you to develop your transferable skills in customer service and general administration. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience, providing an excellent foundation for future growth and development, ultimately giving you experience in Sales or Operations.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Working within all team members of the trading department, helping with administration tasks, utilising the software used within the business
- Communicating with customers and stakeholders to make sure the customer is receiving the correct orders at the correct times
- Working with the finance team over the different businesses within Growers Direct
- Attending teams meetings on a weekly basis, taking meeting minutes and recording them correctly
- Communication across all areas, external service providers, customer & procurement exposure
- Ensuring accurate sales and costs into the system, helping finance team with invoice postings
- Ultimate goal is for the individual to develop the skills to be a Salesperson in the Fresh Produce Arena
- This apprenticeship is working in a very sales driven environment and therefore needs someone who is happy to communicate verbally as well as electronically
