St Mary's College is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join the school as a Marketing & Communications Apprentice. The role is varied and will involve a range of digital marketing and social media duties.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support the creation of content for use on social media accounts/ school website and in internal communications/displays
- Building valuable and meaningful relationships with other internal areas of the Trust including the Business Support teams, Senior Leadership teams, Heads of School and Pastoral Leaders
- Supporting content on internal communications
- Supporting the team’s input with internal events and attend to generate content – photos, testimonies, news stories etc. Capture images and basic video/audio
- Support proof-reading content for our newsletters and website news posts
- Engage with and learn the processes of stand-alone internal communications and engagement projects including event promotion, & awareness-raising campaigns, producing displays for events etc. The apprentice will also provide support when needed with external marketing campaigns
- Support quality assurance checks on the Trust’s social media platforms
- Research and support the best value purchasing of assets and resources

Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Multi-Channel Marketing consisting of:
- Level 3 Diploma in Multi-Channel Marketing
- Level 2 Functional Skill in maths (if applicable)
- Level 2 Functional Skill in English (if applicable)
You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. Additional off the job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship There will also be an end point assessment.

GCSE in:
