What you’ll do at work

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Apprentice to join our client based in Borehamwood. They are all about making a difference to their customers with the use of technology. They an innovative provider of IoT, voice & data, cyber, IT, cloud and technology services – their mission is to make their customers more productive, efficient and leaner, with scalable solutions that position them for success. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to start a career in marketing. The role offers hands-on experience in various marketing activities, including digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and campaign coordination.

You will be completing your L3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship via Remit Training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Assist in creating and scheduling social media posts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Content Creation: Help write and develop content for blogs, newsletters, websites, and marketing materials.
  • Campaign Support: Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns, including email marketing and digital advertising.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support marketing strategies.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Customer Engagement: Assist in managing customer interactions and responding to inquiries on social media or email platforms.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, such as scheduling meetings and updating databases.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Strong interest in marketing, with a desire to learn and develop.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft OJice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Course contents
  • Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
  • Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
  • Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
  • Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
  • Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
  • Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
  • Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
  • Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
  • Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
  • Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
  • Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
  • Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
  • Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
  • Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
  • Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

    • You will be completing your L3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship via Remit Training.
    • This will be delivered to you via our blended learning model. 
    • All learning will be delivered to you virtually. 
    • This qualification is 18 months long.

    Essential qualifications

    GCSE in:

    • Maths and English GCSE (grade Grade 4/C or above.)
