Summary
Barry Fogg Electrical are an electrical installation company based in Birkenhead. We are looking for a hard working responsible person to work alongside our Project Manager in an administrative support role.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Customer invoicing using dedicated finance software
- Assisting with scheduling of employee workloads
- Communicating with employees including distribution of workloads and business communications
- Communicating with suppliers, ordering material and building relationships
- Sending emails including writing and editing company correspondence
- General filing and keeping customer databases up to date
- Interacting with customers either on the phone, in person or via email
- Making travel arrangements for employees
- Learning about the company's mission and available products/services
- Building relationships with customers and educating them about what products/services are available
- Preparing, printing and copying documents
- Collecting and sorting post
- Assisting with Public Relations duties including website/social media updates
- Maintain employee company Health & Safety records and updating training matrix
- Assisting with enforcing company Health & policy
- Assisting with submission of documents for Health & Safety accreditations
- Assisting with submission of quotations
- Participating in office meetings and taking meeting minutes
- Chase up overdue customer accounts
- Maintain company diary including employee workload, scheduling of repetitive workloads and company vehicle servicing
- Issue of PPE to employees and maintenance of database
- Providing general office support and being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required
