Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
You'll work closely with our finance department, supporting day-to-day financial activities and contributing to the business's success.
Financial Transactions:
- Assist in processing invoices, expenses.
- Aid in the preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Assist in completion of bank reconciliations and cashflow preparation.
Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of Project Variance, labour recovery and backlog reporting.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts for Overheads.
Cost Analysis:
- Participate in project cost analysis reviews by analysing costs against budgets and identify areas for cost-saving.
Compliance and Audit:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal and external audit.
Administration:
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation support.
Learning and Development:
- Attend training sessions and complete coursework related to the apprenticeship program.
