We are looking for an engaged, motivated and dynamic Client Services Assistant to join us. Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

As part of this role, apprentices will complete the following:

  • Update & maintain client data in XPlan and on our client portal: Keeping information accurate, up to date and compliant
  • Pre-Meeting Preparation including drafting documents and obtaining updates
  • Liaising with providers for valuations
  • Sending & chasing letters of authority
  • General office administration: management of post, printing, booking meeting rooms
  • Assisting with client gifting
  • Supporting the Client Service Associates and wider team with any ad hoc requests

  • Quality service delivery: Consistently develops and delivers excellent service to customers, colleagues & advisers, supporting the products / services provided and adhering to ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ principles at all times
  • Customer communication & relationships: Develops effective relationships with customers & key contacts, handling & resolving issues through effective verbal/written/IT skills.
  • Team working & collaboration: Understands role within team & impact on others. Consistently endeavours to support colleagues & collaborate to achieve results
  • Planning & prioritising: Consistently adheres to systems & processes using proficient IT skills, including risk, regulatory and governance requirements

    Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices will achieve the Financial Services Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

    • Fully and part funded learning and development programme that includes the CF1 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics
    • Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Financial Services Administrators
    • Free CII membership for non-members through the CII Aspire Apprenticeship Programme
    • Includes the CII CF1 study e-book and exam entry
    • CII and EPA resits are to be covered by the employer
    • Fortnightly workshops for the CF1 exam delivered by our team of professional qualification tutors
    • All workshops recorded and available on-demand
    • Interactive chat, forums and class notebooks for real time support and assistance from experienced financial services professionals
    • Exam tips, tricks, and strategies
    • Additional resources through RM Advance
    • Regular tutorials and assessments from an experienced financial services professional
    • R01 is available as an alternative to CF1. Suitability for R01 will be determined by a Skills Edge Trainer

    This apprenticeship provides the first step on the pathway to professional membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

    Essential qualifications

    GCSE in:

    • English (grade 4)
    • Maths (grade 4)
    • 3 Subjects including maths or business (grade B)
