Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Savills work for a range of institutional clients, investors, developers and private individuals principally supporting their work on a wide variety of properties on the south coast. The individual would need to develop an in-depth understanding of property valuation and assist the team with all aspects of their work, helping them to maintain their market leading position.
You would be working with one of the directors or associate directors in the team and cover a varied work load.
Day to day work duties will include:
- Undertaking research into market activity, and other aspects of the valuation report
- Inspections and measurement
- Reviewing documentation
- Preparing appendices for reports, including photos and plans and managing databases
- The role involves UK wide travel and on occasion overnight stays
The long term potential is for that individual to become a MRICS surveyor themselves, having developed their skills working within a market leading team. The individual would be client facing over time and therefore communication and interpersonal skills are important. A sociable and presentable individual with an eye for detail is required. They need to be proactive, confident and willing to learn.
