We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Mortgage Administrator/Trainee Broker. Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of mortgage applications
  • Maintain accurate and organised client records and documentation
  • Conduct initial client assessments to gather necessary financial information
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure smooth processing of applications
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering queries and providing updates on application status
  • Support senior brokers with research and analysis of mortgage products
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices

    Level 3 Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship standard.

    The Financial Services Administrator apprenticeship is ideal for learners beginning an entry level role in the financial sector.

    As an entry level role, this apprenticeship provides the foundation knowledge, skills and experience for progression along a number of career paths. 

    Key Learning Outcomes:

    • A broad understanding of the financial services sector
    • An understanding of the role of the appropriate regulatory bodies
    • The importance of relationship building with clients and colleagues
    • Understanding of processes and procedures relevant to the role
    • How to develop commercial awareness

    Professional Qualifications:

    • CeMAP1 - awarded by London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF)
    • Completion of CeMAP1 will provide a solid foundation for the learner and can lead on to progression to study in other areas

    GCSE or equivalent in:

    • 5 subjects including maths and english (grade 4 or above)
