Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Duties include:
- Invoicing customers
- Speaking to shipping agencies
- Speaking to customers for shipping, updates via telephone and email
- Custom clearance shipments
- Filing
- Training on customer quotations
- Sales/meeting, calling and emailing new customers to help grown the business

- Customer Service Practitioner - Level 2 qualfication.
- This Apprenticeship is completed within the workplace.
- You will be assessed through written work, verbal discussion and observation throughout your training.
- You will be given time by your employer to complete portfolio work, attend training, workplace shadowing and any other opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
- Any (grade A*-D/ 9-3)
- Any (grade A*-D/ 9-3)
- English (grade A*-D/ 9-3)
- Maths (grade A*-D/ 9-3)
