Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Provide administrative support in line with service level agreements
- Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail and mail
- Manage diaries for a team of surveyors and technicians
- Screen phone calls and route callers to the appropriate departments
- General office tasks, filing, generating reports, booking meetings and re-ordering office supplies
- Update insurer portals
- Handle sensitive data in a confidential manner
- Resolve administrative problems
- Produce reports to management and insurers
- Meet and greet visitors

Your training plan
You will undertake a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration. This will include Functional Skills at Level 2 in maths and English if you don't already hold these qualifications or equivalent.
The course will be delivered within the workplace based in Kirkby, Liverpool by an experienced assessor who will visit once per month. You will complete off the job training 1 day per week, this will be arranged by your assessor and employer.
