Summary
An Apprentice Pharmacy Level 2 Assistant is required. This role maintains a high level of competence as well as being the experts that our customers can rely on. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. Duties include: the use of the computer and the pharmacy specific software, checking off and unpacking orders and stock management.

£7.00 per hour for 16-18 year olds and £7.50 per hour for apprentices over 19 years for the first 12 months and then increases to NMW

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Providing excellent customer service
- Dispensing medicine
- General admin
- Dealing with online and phone enquiries
- Use of the computer and the pharmacy-specific software
- Checking off and unpacking orders
- Stock management
- Date checking of stock
- Processing NHS prescriptions

In addition we will also enrol you onto the Dispensing Assistant Course.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:

This is an online pharmacy so no customer facing is included in this role, the only contact with customers is via online chat, telephone and email.

Teesside LLP trades as Riverside Pharmacy and Seaside Pharmacy. The 2 pharmacies operate slightly different, one being a delivery only pharmacy based in Middlesbrough, TS2 1RP, the other based in Seaham, Seaside Pharmacy. They both offer free Repeat Prescription Service (Prescription Collection & Delivery) to local customers. They offer this service for patients registered with Surgeries in Middlesbrough and Seaham areas. They also provide a full range of essential services to persons anywhere in England for the online delivery service option.
