Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Support children in class to acheive their potential
- Developing an understanding of the end of year key stage targets
- Preparation of resources to suport learning
- Promte pupils independance. self esteem and social inclusion
- Give support to pupils individually or in groups
- Liaising with home, class teachers and pastoral teams to esnure that all needs are met in school
- Use effective behaviour management strategies and reporting processes in line with the Academy's policy and procedures

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

The majority of the training will be deliverd within the school premises, but you will be required to attend training at Bolton College 1 day per month.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade 4/C or above)
- Maths (grade 4/C or above)
