Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Assisting with day-to-day food preparation tasks.
- Receiving and preparing produce and ingredients to the required standard.
- Assisting in the preparation of dishes finished to the required standard.
- Maintaining good order and cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Adhering to all current food safety regulations.
- Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for deliveries, and ensuring accurate quality checks on all food deliveries.
- Washing cutlery and kitchen equipment used during food preparation.

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
