Immediate start with GlamDoll Fashion. We are looking to hire a Customer Service Apprentice to join our team. You will learn many aspects of fashion, giving you a solid foundation for your career to progress. This is an excellent opportunity for driven individuals.

The working pattern would be 5 full days between Monday-Saturday. The standard hours would be 9.00am - 5.00pm each day, however we can be flexible for someone travelling if this reduces their travel time.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • Live interaction with internal and external customers
  • Understanding the core values of the business
  • Printing off orders daily
  • Manage and respond to emails and chats within social media platforms. You’ll liaise with internal departments and external companies to investigate customer queries
  • You’ll investigate customer complaints and provide solutions whilst keeping them informed and up to date along the way
  • Handling of complex queries/complaints
  • You’ll be the first voice our customers hear, so you’ll need to make a great first impression
  • You’ll have email and chat targets to achieve, so being focused on them will be key to your ongoing success
  • You’ll be focused on customer satisfaction, dealing with our clients with empathy, direction, and action
  • You’ll deliver on promises, understand customer frustrations, and have an investigative approach to all customers

Course contents
  • Use a range of questioning skills, including listening and responding in a way that builds rapport, determines customer needs and expectations and achieves positive engagement and delivery.
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills, along with summarising language during face-to-face communications; and/or
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use appropriate communication skills, along with reinforcement techniques (to confirm understanding) during non-facing customer interactions.
  • Depending on your job role and work environment: Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect the organisation’s brand.
  • Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and your organisation.
  • Be able to organise yourself, prioritise your own workload/activity and work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate patience and calmness.
  • Show you understand the customer’s point of view.
  • Use appropriate sign-posting or resolution to meet your customers needs and manage expectations.
  • Maintain informative communication during service recovery.

    Essential qualifications

    GCSE in:

    • English (grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
    • Maths (grade C/4 or above or equivalent)
