Lets Tell You More

Apprenticeship Programmes are a great way to earn and learn! Our Apprentice Data Analyst Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the core of our business. Entering an apprenticeship scheme with us involves working towards the role of a fully-fledged professional, earning a salary, whilst also being able to maintain a sense of academic achievement. At Severn Trent we provide the perfect mix between hands-on experience and a formal qualification, enabling our apprentices to make a real lasting difference to our customers and communities, not just for now, but far into the future.

You’ll be supported every step of the way, by your line manager and mentor. Responsibilities of businesses are changing rapidly; society increasingly expects that organisations should act responsibly not just to their shareholders but also to their wider stakeholders and the broader community. Working alongside either our Capital Delivery team or Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team, you’ll become a key component of virtually all types of business models where profit and growth are a means to an even greater end, such as protecting the environment and improving societal sustainability. You’ll help to innovate and drive ambitions for change and make these a reality that are embedded and implemented across Severn Trent.

What you Will Learn

  • How to carry out analysis on key measures such as how effectively a team or project is performing right through to higher level company performance metrics that are reported the water regulatory body OFWAT
  • To build internal relationships that foster buy-in to existing and future initiatives.
  • To understand how to act ethically and how this thought process can be brought into everyday business practices.
