The Training and HR Administrator Apprentice (Business Administrator Apprenticeship Level 3) will be employed by Blue Flame (Cornwall) Ltd in Penryn, Cornwall. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Main duties
- Overseeing the recruitment process
- Maintaining and updating job descriptions in conjunction with the line managers
- Placing adverts
- Organising interviews
- Overseeing recruitment process
- Referencing
- Ensuring induction processes are completed
- Produce and maintain training matrix
- Organising internal and external training courses
- Liaise with training providers
- Produce and issue training agreements
- Maintain and update staff handbook
- Issuing staff memos
- Issuing written offers of employment, contracts and associated documents
- Promotion or role change, amendment to contact documentation
- Absence management recording and reporting
- Administrational duties
- Processing starters and leavers
- Create various documents and electronic information
- File documents and perform other routine tasks as associated to HR
- Ensure personnel folders are up to date

Your training plan
- This training will take place at the workplace - Blue Flame Ltd premises in Penryn, Cornwall with potentially occasional visits to the CMN (training provider) premises in Famouth to undertake exams
- Training will take place with the tutor / assessor once per month is a minimum basis, with on-the-job training taking place with the employer on a daily basis
- The apprenticeship training will be for 18 months
