Summary

Superior Sections are looking to take on a mechatronics apprentice to assess repair breakdowns, service machines, support new machine build projects and more. You will be supported by an experienced engineer who has many years of knowledge in the job role.

Annual wage: £15,600 a year

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.00am - 3.00pm. Friday, 7.00am - 2.00pm.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Day to day tasks will include:

Attending breakdowns, fault-finding and repair issues
carry out day to day TPM
Maintaining spares stock levels
Machine improvements
Machine servicing following a pre-scripted service sheet

Your training plan

This is a level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship (Mechatronics pathway) delivered over a period of four years.
You will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge WS9 8UG, part time for the first 2 years and then you will receive Assessor visits in company for the remainder of your apprenticeship.
