Summary
Sashless Windows established in 1965 is a family run manufacturing company with over 50 years’ experience of producing quality, factory finished, timber window and door sets. They are looking for a Design Technician Apprentice to join their team. You will gain experience whilst completing the Level 4 Construction Design & Build Technician Standard.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Working with CAD and bespoke software such as CalWin, you will produce drawings specific to the dimensions and requirements taking into account the whole production such as:
- Capacity planning
- Estimating and costing
- Processing orders and looking at process improvements.
This will be for their client's renovation or building design.
You will also complete other duties such as:
- Attending site visits
- Be involved in projects and meetings
- Analyse design problems
- Analyse data to determine solutions
- Work closely with quantity surveyors
