Summary
A career start up role to learn and develop much sought after skills in the manufacturing sector. You will be trained in all disciplines of machining, including CNC, milling and turning with general hand fitting skills. Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Reporting to the Director
Duties will include:

Manually machine components to engineering specifications:
To include CNC milling, turning and general hand fitting

Work to quality standards required for the components

Work alongside skilled machinists to acquire knowledge and skills associated with the demands of the role

Respond quickly to changing demands - customer order deadlines

Ensure you adhere to stringent health & safety regulations and constraints

Attend Sheffield College - Advanced Technology Centre 1 day per week in term time

Training
