Summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated Infrastructure Technician Apprentice to assist the Network Manager in the day-to-day running of the school’s ICT networks, associated hardware and digital resources.

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • First line support and advice to students and staff
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the internet, email, social media and online resources
  • Provide support and maintenance for network hardware and software, including classroom support
  • Provide technical support for school events
  • Support in-house training as and when required
  • Manage small projects

  • You will be appointed a skills trainer who will meet with you remotely every 6-8 weeks for reviews and support with your Summative Portfolio work

GCSE or equivalent in:
