Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Promote the school’s communication with stakeholders by ensuring delivery of all forms of communication (written, verbal, electronic and face-to-face) are clear and consistent with the high standards set by the school
- Provide clerical and administrative support to teaching staff to reduce their administrative burden and support effective teaching and learning in the school
- Support the pastoral care of our students by delivering accurate and effective administrative systems and records which promote safeguarding
- As a member of the wider administrative team, work together to promote efficient use of resources (financial, material and human) to support the operations of the school
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and filing/organisation to support the wider operations of the school and the departments supported
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, in particular with regards to data protection and confidentiality
- Support and attend whole school events, to include Open Evening and Presentation Evening. Support the aims and ethos of the school, setting a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as required by the Administration Manger
