Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Reception duties - meeting and greeting clients, making drinks, ensuring meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy, photocopying documents
- Answering phone calls - dealing with enquiries, transferring calls, taking messages, taking card payments
- Processing incoming mail - scanning in correspondence, sending it onto the relevant person(s), saving it electronically in the client’s folders
- Dealing with outgoing mail - preparing letters for posting, franking the mail, taking the post and other parcels to the Post Office
- Dealing with deliveries, parcels and client’s records - both incoming and outgoing
- Compiling business documents, including emails, letters, and general business correspondence
- Using a variety of IT software in addition to all aspects of O365
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the administration team to ensure we provide an efficient and effective service to clients
- Any other general administrative tasks as may reasonably by required
