We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our innovative small team of qualified professionals, as an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant for an independent pharmacy. For the right person, there is the opportunity to secure full-time employment and progress to higher level qualification.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Dispensing of medication to patients
- Over counter sales of non-prescription medication
- Check and monitor prescription slips
- Health and Safety Responsibility
- Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines
- Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card
- Data Entry relating to medication
- Labelling and Dispensing
- Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals
